Apr i 27 The Admiralty report-: — Two of our destroyer* on April 22 encountered and engaged five A us*irian destroyers in the Adriatic. The enemy fled to the shelter of the- fortified ports of Durazzo, pursued by our destroyers, who were join forced by five more Hr’iSb and t-no Flench destroyer. The chase continued until after midnight, when we lost touch with the enemy. Our casualties total seven killed and 19 wounded. l t is not known what damage was inflicted on tho enemy. British air forces on April 23 dropped a ton of bombs with good results on a seaplane base at Durazzo. 'THE AUSTRIAN VERSION. Admiralty—Per Wireless Press. An Austrian official rrp-oi: says.:—On the night of April 22 our* dcst royers advanced to tho Otranto Straits and seriously damaged an enemy destroyer in an engagement with light forces.
