THE WEATHER.
Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winds backing to northerly northwards of New Plymouth and Castle Point, and northerlies prevailing 'and freshening elsewhere; weather warmer but with increasing haze and cloudiness and a change following shortly. ’j lie barometer has a falling tendency.
