CAUSE HEAVY LOSSES LA ST YEAR. United Press Association —Copyright, SYDNEY, Alareh 13. The Commonwealth Statistician states that there were altogether during 1917, 444 strikes, embracing 173 970 workers, and causing a loss of 1,689,316 working days, and a loss in wages of £2,641,735.
