Official: A Gotha was brought down in flames five kilometres from tlie Chateau Tliierny. The raid began at five o'clock in the evening and ended at midnight. Sixt3 T aeroplanes ill seven squadrons crossed the French lines, though barrages of great intensity were put up. A few reached Paris. . The bombs dropped demolished several buildings and set fire to others.
A DISASTROUS PANIC. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received Alarcli 13, 9.30 p.m.) PARIS, March 12. A panic at the entrance to r - raid shelter on tlie underground ail way during last night’s raid resulted in G 6 people being suffocated or trampled to death. The other casualties now total 34 killed and 79 injured, including six killed and seven injured at a hospital.
