To-night the delegates were welcomed at a public meeting at the Lyceum Theatre. There was a large attendance. Airs Russell fTimaru president) presided and the Mayor (Mr Malingj and .Rev T, Jougliin and Mr J. Craigie, M. 1., gave addresses of welcome. Airs Don Dominion president, in acknowledging the welcome, said the AV.G.T-U. was out to sweep the liquor interests away all together. The present restrictions were insufficient.
