WOOL PURCHASE COMMITTEE.
MR W D LYSNAR TO REPRESENT GROWERS. Mr. W. D. Lysnar, of Gisborne, yesterday ’ received the following letter from the . Mar)lborough V\ oof Growers’ Committee, Wellington:— “Dear Sir,—This is to inform you that, after some considerable delay, partly -due to circumstances over which we had no control and partly to a misapprehension on our part, you have been declared to be elected as the representative for Hawke’s Bay division on the Woolgrowers’ Representative Standing Committee, to consult with the Controller of Imperial Government Supplies Department. Please notify me of your acceptance and oblige.—Yours (faithfully, (signed) R. Wanden, Secretary.” Mr. Lvsnar has forwarded his acceptance' of the position. This means that he will be the sole representative for the Poverty Bay, Hawke’s Bay, Wairoa, Dannevirke, and Woodville districts on the Wool Growers’ Standing Committee to consult with and advise the Controller in charge of wool purchasing for the Dominion.
