Crs. Hill and Miller had a brief -passage-at-arms at the Borough Council meeting last evening. lhe Council was considering a report from tlie Building Inspector regarding the demolition .of a building. Cr. Hill had advocated allowing the building to remain, pointing out the difficulty of obtaining supplies and labor. Cr. Miller in making a statement, said .Cr. Hill had visited the premises. ‘ Cr. Hill (emphatically): I never did. ‘ „ , Cr. Miller (gently): Don’t be too hasty: Cr Hill retorted: Don’t hurt yourself. Cr. Miller appears to lie somewhat mixed. It was a furniture store I visited. Cr. Munns: Perhaps it’s Cr. Hill who is doing the balancing trick. He condemned the building in my hear-, m Cr. Hill: There’s no balancing, about me.
