SPIRITED ROMAN CATHOLIC PROTEST. Press Association Telegram. AUCKLAND, Nov. 5. Replying to hostile propaganda directed against the Roman Catholic Church, Bishop Oleary said the effect of such a campaign must he to divide and weaken the Dominion by fomenting dissension among its people. “I warn the Government,” he declared; “that we are not going to suffer such attacks lying down. If there is not in this ' Dominion a .Government strong enough or patriotic enough to abate this dangerous propaganda of dissension and strife in and out of our armv we ourselves will see to our proper defence.”
