GERMAN SURVIVORS’ STORIES. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received Sept. 3, 8.15 p.m.) COPENHAGEN. Sept. 2. German survivors of the naval brush state that the German trawlers were carrying great quantities of food for submarines. Suddenly, they discovered the British warships, and were surrounded, the onlv escape being into Danish water. The British fired 1500 rounds. Two German submarines and two seaplanes participated. The fate of the submarines is unknown.
