A T a Meeting of the Mangapapa Town Board, held on Monday, the 18th June, 1917, it was resolved by the Board to charge Ratepayers £1 for each Dwelling in the Board’s area for the removal by the Board of Nightsoil for the period from Ist April, 1917, to 31st March, 1918. Such charge of £1 to he due and payable, together with all rates levied for period from Ist April, 1917, to 31st March 1918, on the 23rd day of July, 1917. Dated this 18th day of June, 1917. MANGAPAPA TOWN BOARD. NOTICE OF INTENTION . TO STRIKE GENERAL AND SPECIAL RATE FOR THE MANGAPAPA TOWN BOARD DISTRICT FOR YEAR 1917-1918. TVTOTICE is hereby given that the Mangapapa Town Board will, at the Ordinary Meeting of the Board, to be held at the office of the Board, Mangapapa, on Monday, the 2nd day of July, 1917, at 7.30 p.m.. make and levy a General Rate for the period commencing on the Ist April, 1917, and ending on the 31st March., 1918, under Sections numbered 35 and 36 of “The Town Boards Act, 1905,” and Sections numbered 48 to 50 (both inclusive) of “The Rating Act, 1908,” and all. the Acts enabling it in that behalf, of one penny and seventeen twenty-firsts (17-21sts) of a penny in the £ on the rateable property within the Mangapapa Town District, on the basis of the Capital Value j also that such General Rate will be payable at the Offices of the Mangapapa Town Board Office at Mangapapa, and the Board’s Town Office, Union Bank Buildings, Gladstone Road, in one instalment, on the 23rd day of July, 1917. ' Also, a Special Rate of One-eiglith (1-Sth) of a Penny in the £ over the Special Rating Area of tile Mangapapa Town Board, to provide interest and charges on the old Mangapapa Loan. Such Special Rate for year ending 31st March, 1918, to be due and payable in one sum upon the 23rd day of July, 1917.
