Despite tihe wet weather there was a very good attendance of the public at tlio Garrison Hall last evening when the local draft of tho 31st reinforcements paraded prior to embarking upon -the Arahura to proceed to Napier en 1,, route for the training camp. The men were presented with “housewives” and farewell addresses were given, after which they were marched down to the wharf, headied) by the City band., At the wharf there was another large attendance of the public.
