Tne Secretary of State for the Colonies was present as a member of the Imperial War Cabinet, and spoke on behalf of the Crown colonies. PUBLICITY ARRANGEMENTS. Long (Colonial Secretary) received overseas journalists at tne Colonial Office and Paid __ arrangements were being made to afford the overseas press the utmost fac.lities tor securing information from the various Government Departments. He expected that the Imperial War Council would occupy from a month, to six weeks. The Council to-mor-iow would discuss procedure and the form any publicity of its proceedings will take.
