GALLANT NEW ZEALANDERS.
AVAR DECORATIONS FROAI RUSSIA AND SERBIA. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. (Reuter’s Telegrams.) LONDON, Feb. 15. The Gazette announces that a number of decorations and medals have been awarded by the Allies, including the following for New Zealanders: The Czar conferred the Order of Saint Stanislaus (third class) on LieutenantColonel AY. H. Cunningham; Cross of Saint George (third class) y>n nine New Zealanders; medals of .Saint George on.five New Zealanders. The King of Serbia has awarded the Order of the AA’hite Eagle (third class) to Brigadier-General E. AA\ Chaytor; fourth class to Lieutenant-Colonels \Y. Meklrum and G. R. Pridham; fourth class to four New Zealanders: the Order of Kara George Jfourth class) to Leiutenant-Colonel Alltchell: the Cross of Kara George to fourteen New Zealanders. The King has given (unrestricted permission to wear war decorations.
