LONDON WOOL SALES. United Press Association —Copyright. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received Feb 14.-8.50 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 15. At the wool sales there was a full representative gathering. Only 58*0 bales of Government owned wool were offered. All crossbreds were taken out for contractors’ war material without competition. Merinos showed good competition. There were some withdrawals owing to the Government maintaining high reserves. Good scoured were fully 5 per cent, above the January closing rates- Greasy were firm at highest January rates, and tending upwards. Inferiors were Irregular.
