At the Union Bank meeting the Chairman referred to the difficulty of financing business between Britain and Australia and New Zealand. He said the Governments concerned had considerably aided the hanks in connection with wool, wheat and meat.
WOOL TRANSIT SUPERINTENDENT.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received Jan. 30. 10.10 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 30. The Army Council Wool Control Committee has appointed Mr.' Austin Wilson, of the Hull-Barnsley railway, to superintend transit.
