WON’T APPEAL AGAINST BALLOT
(Press Association Telegram.) HAWERA, Jan. 30. At • the meeting of the Taranaki Methodist Ministers’ Association the Rev. T. G. Hammond .(Chairman of the Taranaki Wanganui District), stated that the operations of the ballot had been carefully considered by the leaders of the church. It- was felt that' the present crisis was such, that it was not the church’s duty to make any appeal for exemption m ca'ses oi such of her ministers’ as may be called in the-ballot, except under- extra--ordinary’circumstances, until. an. irreducible jw ini mum is _ rea cheid,, in. ;yth e staffing of the circuits.
