ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
DROWNING MISHAP AT FRANKTON. < (Press Association Telegram.) DUNEDIN, June 25. ' James Patrick Hanning, employed on the steamer Earslaw, was drowned at Frankton wharf at 5.30 a.m. on Saturday. Ho fell into the water while the steamer was discharging at the wharf. The body was recovered about 15 minutes later. Deceased leaves a widow and three young children.
