Tho House of Representatives unanimously voted that the conditions in Northern Alexico justify the President in immediately i-wea ring-in State troops into the army of tifco United States.

South American Republics are endeavoring to mediate between the United, States and Alexico, but tho United States refuses.
It has been definitely established that a small force of the American expedition was defeated by the Mexicans and the Americans annihilated. Tho Afoxicans threaten to repeat tho exploit if the Americans urther enter Alexico.
The United Slates has asked Great Britain to take charge of its interests in Alexico City. The Entente Powers have notified the United Slates of their willingness to subordinate their American munition contracts to the United States' needs. Tho intimation is regarded as- an indication that the Alii -a themselves are now able to supply ail their own munition requirements.
