B LLLIARD TOURNAMENT
The handicans and draws for the Soldiers’ - Club' billiard tournament were issued yesterday. A number of players have nominated, and a keen competition should result. 'The first round of matches will be completed bv Saturday, and on Monday tho second round SviM commence._ The hundicapper was Sergt. -Major Oman, and th<' following is the draw for the first round : F MacDonald (30 on) v. H. Aiken (ser). H. H. McGill (40 behind) v. AY. Benson (10 on), C. Deverv (50 on) v. E. Corbett (50 on). H. Fielder (ser) v. W. Bracken (100 on). J. Lei toll (50 on) v. S. Coleman (50 behind i, TJ. AVliitfield CLIO on) v. T. Mills (10 on). T. Parker (10 behind) v. F. Lloyd (50 on). J. Ron wick (50 on) v. C. B. King (00 on), AY. Breinner (45 one) v. AV. Morrow (110 on), \Y. Ranger (ser) bye! On Monday next a smoke concert will be bold in tbe club rooms. A good attendance is assured, and arrangements are well forward to fittingly entertain the guests.
