PERSONAL NOTES.

Privates Albert Norton (3rd Reinforcements), William Green (sth Reinforcements), and Hone Xenia (Maori Force), who returned from by the troopship Rotorua, arrived in Gisborne by Sunday night's steamer.

At a special meeting last night, the Hospital Board empowered the chairman to make arrangements with Dr. Kah-lenberg to remain superintendent of the Hospital till after the next meeting of the Board, which is to be xeld on February IS. Applications have been invited for. the position of superintendent, and the date for receiving these closes on February 16.
