ANOTHER BATCH TO REACH GIS-
BORNE THIS AIORNING
Lieut. Aloltzen, local area officer, received advice from Napier yesterday afternoon that the following returned soldiers would be returning to Gisborne by this morning’s steamer: Quartermaster - Sergeant Devery, Trooper Aislabie, Private Delaney, Private Kerr, Private W. Allen, Private Hauiti Hani. Te Araroa, Private Whare Alills, Port Awanui. None of these are stretcher cases.
The men will be met on the steamer bv Lieut. Aloltzen and Alessrs J. B. Kells and. F. 8.. Barker, representing the Gisborne Citizens’ Defence Committee. The National Reserve will parade ar the wharf to give the returning Soldiers a welcome. The following Gisborne men were a menu st those who returned bv the WiUochr;: : WELL. IXGTON BATTALION. Allen.
