Tho second batch of Gisborne men who have been invalided - from the Front will arrive back home by the s.k. Ta rawer a this morning.

A P.A. message from Wellington stated that eight wounded soldb-r* are coming to Gisborne by the - s. Tarawera this morning. The following ten Gisborne n>.< n r- - turned by' the s.s. Tofua, which arrived at Dunedin on Tuesday last:— Herbert Aitken, barman, Gisborne; Frederick George Ackerman, Tokomaru; William Henry Jenkins, laborer, Gisborne; Ernest Palmer, bushman, Gisborne; Thomas H< rber* Ranger, electrician, Gisborne; Archibald Gordon Somervell, accountant, Gisborne; William Stanley Col* man, accountant, Gisborne: James Archibald Wilson, dairyman, Mangapapa ; Harry Ernest Bloomfield, seaman, Gidiorne; Wiremu Haeti Rangi. farmer, Gisborne. The Hospital Board has been notified that three of the men will require. hospital treatment. Members of the National E serve are parading at the Garrison Hall at 7.15. and will attend the w ]come home, whilst members of the Define* Committee yviil go out to tho steamer an:! meet the men on board.
