A very old and highly-respected resident of Gisborne, in the person of Mr Moses Haisman passed away suddenly yesterday morning, at the advanced age of , 7 years. Trie deceased gentleman was born at St. Marv’s Cray, Kent-, and came to New Zealand in the ship British King in 1832He took up his residence at Auckland as a builder and contractor, and remained there about seven years, when he moved with Mrs Haisman and family to Gisborne. Ho continued as a master builder at Gisborne as long as his health would permit. A wide circle of friends will join in expressions of sympathy to his widow and grown up family, which comprises three sons and three daughters.
