Already pestilent e settles down on our men-folk: already v, ou.mii <1 soldiers return to our shores. As to these things, we are without panic, but- without blind unreasoning optimism. We look into the future with that long clear vision which is our racial heritage a-s women. Wewsee line upon line of diseased and disabled men filing past for months and maybe for years. Their call for human help sounds in our cars. Find us unready. they must not. Will you help" us to be prepared for them? Daily tin' necessity looms nearer and graver. There must be no delay. This is no individual appeal: every man can aid with Ins money. We 'need every human effort, every financial resource. From one end of New/Zealand to the other we women want in he organised and ready for"immediate service. Some thirty or forty of us have now boon called to work in the local military hospitals. Others are preparing quietly and steadily, waiting for their call. Will you not help im do our duty to the id k and wounded? Send all you have to spare to HE SECRETARY, X.Z.
