NO SETTLEMENTS AS YET. PEESS ASSOCIATION —COPYEIGR7.I LONDON, March 7. A conference of representatives of employers and workers at Sheffield did not arrive at an agreement. The Clyde dispute has been referred by masters to the Government- for arbitration.
The workers at Southampton shipyards ask for an increase of os a week and ten per cent, on piecework from March 13th. The employers coir.vr with them on Tuesday.
