BILL-POSTING GUN.
INVENTORS’ IDEAS IN 1914. Some striking devices have made their appearance among the inventions of the past year, regarding which Messrs Hughes and Young, patent. agents, of 55-56, Chancery Lane,London, supply interesting information. A motor car without wheels has been .specially designed for passing over rough ground and climbing steep hills. Instead of wheels the car has three parallel pairs of runners, resembling those on sledges, except that they are movable. , As soon as the motor is starter.* one pair is raised, moved forward, and set on the ground, and these movements are imitated by the succeeding runners. The car always rests on two pairs, and by means of the forward action' of the runners also moves forward. * Eov bank messengers and others who carry large sums-of money in the-' street an American inventor has.'’designed" a speciaiJiandbag, in tjlie handle of which a revolver is copce'uledv: Another invention is a luminous l writ-* ing -fluid, with radio-active properties,: so that letters written witliat lmly be read in toe dark. *'.!/- l> A gun which sticks ;bills , j is ewrnong the year’s !)rmht‘‘ ; thoiihht'S.''; 'I > iisisaid'. that bv this epntfivaiVceV- whichwediss: penses with-'A 'lad'di# dioslerstthave been pla’cect ft ( heights s6fti from a distah.cp gf (Or l , u Another, 'naiignt' is.; It 1 ship SvvtJi-*an' u'ppeiri'decfe: jW.h'igh jn Tip l rettiistiil TrbiH' the liuU! sinkso-'i 1 .... i A r - -r- •''Tru 1 ‘! 1 '' l r ‘
