GISBORNE CLUBThe heats of the Kennedy Aleniorial Fours were continued at 1 p.m. vest.erdav. when I). Sccats (stroke), W . Sliugsby, L. Clare and R. Herivel beat A. Langridge (stroke). R Sparfe. A Quigley and H. Hogg by a couple of lengths, after an exciting struggle over the ma jor part of the course. At 5.30 p.m. Topliss (str.), J. Chrisp, Bovd and G. Evcriss defeated G. Fromm (str.), H. Muir, Donald and Nesbitt by half a-length. IJio next race resulted in a dead heat, the crews being B. C. Jeffreys (str.). R, Sweet, J. D. Parminter, A. Fvsoji and C'. A nting (str.), Hood, H. D. Anderson and Kennedy. A semi-final will bo rowed' to-night between Scents and Somerton, and last night’s dead heat, will be re-rowed.
