SYDNEY MEAT STRIKE.
ALL SHOPS OPEN TO-MORROW
(United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received March 8, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. March 8. All the butchers’ shops will be opened to-morrow. Both sides claim a victory—the masters a moral win, and the men because they secured, a reduction in hours from 56 to 49j. It is estimated that the striking butchers lost £35,000 in wages.
