THE WHITE WOLVES.

GHASTLY MASSACRE REPORTED

[UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION —OQPTEIGHT] PEKING, Feb. 22.

The “White Wolf” bandits massacred 1300 people, sacking Limanchow. Twenty-five thousand troops arc now converging on the “White "Wolf’s” stronghold, where two thousand bandits are entrenched. Half, of them are armed with modern rifles. The Government troops evince a strong disinclination to come to close quarters with the outlaws. Unless the bandits are exterminated many fear they will become the centre of another revolution.
