CONSECRATION SERVICES.

trass ASSOCIATION TXLKO&AICJ NAPIER, Feb. 22. The consecration of Rev. Canon William Walmsley Sedgwick, 8.A., as Bishop of Waiapu, took place in St. John’s Cathedral this morning in the presence of a very large congregation. The Primate, Bishop Neville, of Dunedin, conducted the consecration service and Bishop * Julius (Christchurch) preached an impressive sermon.

At the evening service ' the new Bishop was installed in the chief seat in the Cathedral by the vicar, Canon Mayne, and preached a sermon. There was again a crowded congregation.
