BOWLING.
GISBORNE CLUB. A committee meeting < f the. Gisborne Bowling Club was held in tne Masonic Hotel last evening. The President (Mr W. Pettie) occupied the chair. The date for the Hawke’s Bay Centre Tournament was fixed for January 1 and 2 on the Gisborne green. A vote of sympathy was passed to Mrs F. A. Martin and family on the death of her husband, who was a late valued member of the Club. The Caretaker (Mr Benson) acknowledged tho expressions of sympathy shown him during his recent bereavement. The formation of the Thursday and Saturday fours was arranged as follows : —Thursday Fours. — Kyme (skip), Seymour (3), Redstone (2), Graham (lead). Coleman (skip), Zacnariah, Morgan, Dean. Pettie (skip), Bullock, O’Meara, Primrose. Hennessy (skip), Colebroolc, Leslie, Hooper. Ambridge (skip), Wootton, H. Miller, Green. Ponsford' (skip), Arnold, Oxenham, Bollen. Robertson (skip), F, Pettie, Humphreys, Chrisp. i Eure (skip), R. Crawford, Gilmour, Rev. Hamilton. J. J. Martin (skip), E. Williams, J. F. Pettie, Gordon. W. A. Smith, Allan, Ashton, Grieve. T. A. Crawford (skip), Witty, Holmes, Etherington. —Saturday Fours. — Maher (skip), Boulton (3), O’Meara (2), W. J. Smith (lead). Kyme (skip), G. George, Morgan, D. J. Parker. Witty (skip), Wm.
