AUSTRALIAN AVIATOR’S INJURIES
HAWKER ADMITS THAT HE WAS CARELESS.

The Australian aviator, Hawker, explains that his accident was due to carelessness in turning in a wind with a heavy load of petrol when too close to the ground. The muscles of his hack are strained, through bracing himself for the fall. Hawker is progressing favorably.
