SWIMMING THE CHANNEL,
HOLBEIN MAKES ANOTHER UNUNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPT.

(Received Sept. 15, 6.55 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 15. Holbein to-day made another attempt on the Channel. He entered the water at 12.55 in the morning and swam till -5 o'clock, but a heavy wind and a nasty sea caused an abandonment of the attempt.
