Cowan (secretary) were present at a special metieng of the management committee of the Rugby Union held early last evening for the purpose of dealing with three of the senior players in the YM..P.—United match on Saturday last. H. Tocker was arraigned on a charge of “misconduct in questioning the referee’s decision.” He gave evidence, the burden of which was that he was dissatisfied with a number of the rulings of the referee (Mr McMahon) and finally told him “not to be silly all his life.” At this he was ordered off.
