Mr McKenna (Home Secretary) lias released Mrs Lawrence and Mrs Smith and Mrs Sharp. The last two were on hunger strike. The reduction in the sentence is due to the recent male disturbers in the House of Commons not being punished. Two suffragettes attempted to petition the King going to Goodwood. They were arrested, Init were released after a few minutes by the King’s orders.
