THE HEW ZEALAND AT VICTORIA.

CANADA’S NAVAL POLICY. OPPORTUNITY HAS NOW COME. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.] (Received July 28, 1.20 a.m.) VICTORIA, July '27. Referring to H.M.S. New Zealand’s visit, Mr. Hazen (Canadian Naval Minister) declaj-ed that he felt humiliated that Canada was unable to place three Dreadnoughts beside the Now Zealand, in order to show Canada’s real sentiments and loyalty, but Canada’s opportunity had new come, and the Government was fully determined to carry its naval policy, which had merely been delayed by an unrepresentative Chamber which had thwarted the will of the people. Sir Richard Mcßride (Premier of British Columbia), Mr Hazen, and the Lieutenant-Governor entertained Captain Halsey at a private banquet.
