MEETING OF MANAGEMENT

COMMITTEE

The weekly meeting of the above Avas held last ei'ening in the Masonic Hotel, Mr. A. H. Boss in the chair. Owing to Mr. M. G. Oman absenting himself for three consecutive meetings the Mercantile Club is to be asked to nominate another delegate to replace Mr. Oman. It was decided to draAv the notice of players to the payment of ground fees. No player will be alloAved to take the field" unless the sixpence ground fee for his previous game has been paid. Such payment has to be made before the next meeting of the executive.

It Av-as decided to call a meeting of all hockey players—both ladies and men—on Tuesday ei'ening next, to consider ways and means of sending ladies’ and men’s representative teams on tour.

Matches for the week are as follows :

LADIES

Gisborne v. High School B, at High School, Mr. Castle referee; Old Girls v High School A, on Reserve, referee, Mr. J. A. McLean. MEN’S:

Thursday—Mira. v. To. Rau, on Reserve, No* 3, referees, Messrs. Sinel and Garrett; Kia Ora v. Tu’kapa, Reserve No. 2, referee, Air. A. E. Rees. Saturday—Civil A. v. Mercantile B, on No. 2, referees, Alessrs. Sim and Howell; Civil B v. Alercantile A, on No. 1, referee, Air. Redded.

In view of the selection of the men’s representative team to tour to Alasterton for the Nordon Cup, the following players are to go into solid practice. Any player whose name is not in this list will also receive consideration, providing good form is shown:— Backs: Armstrong, Cramp, Connolly, Hudson, Farquhar, Howell, Dooian, Dr. Kahlenberg, Olsen, Port, Price, Everiss, Redgrave, Sim, Tate, Turei, Wills; forwards, Benson, Cassin, Hawkins, Huston, Hutton, Alackie, AlcLa.chlan, AlcLisky, Aforse, _ Pollock, Rice, D. Roderick, J. Roderick, Souncly. Wednesday morning on the Reserve will be devoted to practice, and all who cannot attend such practice shou’d at once notify the selector (Air O. It. Olsen). The following will be the K-ia Ora team against Tukapa, on Reserve, No. 2 ground, to-morrciw afternoon: Wi Luke, W. Haugbie, F. Price, Everiss, W. McGuffie, D. AlcLsod, FI. Ireland, G.
