WALKING ON WATER BOOTS.

The latest of the numerous attempts to construct water-boots for walking on the water is credited to a German cabinetmaker. He has experimented oh Lake Ammer, in Bavaria, and has walked across the lake —about two miles —in two hours..: The propelling device a-a seines' of three paddles, mounted on hinges, and the side, of each boot.
