Sir Rufus Isaacs (Attorney-General) giving evidence before the Marconi Committee, said, that his dealings with his brother Harry had not the slightest effect on the contract. He did not think to-day that his conduct had been indiscreet, nor did he consider that lie should have told the House of Commons anything. He added that he had nothing to do with the present prosecution.

At the trial of Cecil Chesterton, editor of the newspaper ••The Eye Witness,” for libel, Godfrey Isaacs denied that he ever influenced anyone. He said that he had never conversed with Sir Rufus Isaacs on the subject.
