The Privy Council is hearing the appeal of the Commonwealth versus the Adelaide Steamship Company, familiarly called the “A end appeal.” The Privy Council is not satisfied that the High Court was wrong on the grounds of pure law. Argument is proceeding as to whether the agreement was detriments} to the public interest. During the argument the "LordChancellor said he had found nothing at present detrimental to the public interests.
