'Hie three-masted schooner Maroro, from Newcastle- with, coal, readied Nelson to-day after a stormy passage The vessel left Newcastle on the 3rd inst., and encountered a succession or gales, net running into good weather until passing Cape Egmont. During asquall early on Sunday morning an 'Ordinary, seaman named Leslie Miller was lost overboard while shortening sail.* A boat was lowered, and the vessel remained in tho vicinity for several hours, but nothing was seen of Miller, who belonged to Sydney.
