Scrap iron and rocks were piled _on the railway track near Paterson, New Jersey, in an attempt to wreck the express, but tho driver of another train caw tho obstruction in time to save the express. , , Black Hand letters notified the Company that an attempt would be made to wreck the train consequent on the employment of strike-breakers.
