SPOILS OF ADRIANOPLE.
ALLIES TAKE 51,000 MEN. MANY GUNS AND RIFLES. [INDEPENDENT PRESS CABLE] LONDON, April 1. The. Allies’ capture at Adrianople included 51,(XX) prisoners, among them being 17 Pashas, eight generals, and 1220 officers, of whom 64 were Germans.
The victors also took 54,000 rifles and 620 big guns, together with an enormous quantity of stores. It is asserted that the Turks blew up the famous Selim Mosque before they surrendered the city, but this news is not yet confirmed.
