lii the Arbitration Court Mr Justice Heydon, refusing an application to vary an award, severely criticised the attitude of unions.
One after another their applications showed how far tvev would go to get the Board's constituted to suit themselves without regard to anyone else. Specialising on a. certain case, he said if a Board were constituted which suited applicants it was what- they called a fair Court! A hat a just Judge! But if they were unsuited, then it was: “What an injustice!” “What an outrage!” “We have been refused a- tribunal which will redress our grievances!” “We will strike! “Sucli,” be said, “is love, and such is the mercy that rival unions show each other.
