DARN SOCKS TO STUDY.

“Men’s hose darned; ones, with ordinary holes, o cents a pair; ones with particularly large holes, 7 cents a pair.” This is the announcement of the darning and mending bureau of the Y.W.C.A. at the University of Missouri. Poor girls earning their own expenses while attending school here will do the work. The first orders already have been secured. The young women will mend buttonholes, shirts, torn clothing, and other clothing. Young women flush with money are asked to send their mending work also. The secretary of the Y.W.C.A. employment bureau will see that all the work* done is first-class.
