MORE TROUBLE IN MEXICO
RAILWAY BRIDGES DESTROYED
[INDEPENDENT PRESS CABLE] . NEW YORK, Dec. 22. Trouble in Mexico is becoming serious once more.
From El Paso comes the report that ll,e„0 Federal troops are advancing on 3000 rebels who are encamped 2o ported that there will be a decisive battle shortly. It is stated that the rebels have burned 40 trestle bridges on the Mexican Northlwestern Railway below Jaurez, and have captured an American who was employed as road-master. From Guadalajara. Mexico, comes the news that 100 rebels! and 40 Government guards we'~> killed after a fierce battle at Hue; quilla.
'Hie rebels sacked the town, and many outrages were perpetrated.
