THE MARTS. There were good sales at the auction marts on Saturday morning.Messrs Malcolm and Co. quote the following prices: Turkeys (hen) 7s 6d to 9s each, fowls Is 9d to 2s 7d, ducks 2s to 3s, roosters Is Id to 2s 9d, eggs Is 6d dozen, plums 2d to 3d lb, apricots 2d to 4d lb, apples 2d to 3d lb, peas 9d and Is a peck, gooseberries 3d lb, butter lid, potatoes ltd, rhubarb 3s dozen bundles, maize 4s 6d bushel. Mr G. Miller reports:—Turkeys (gobblers) 18s each, ducks 2s 6d, fowls Is 7d to 2s 3d, hen and chicks 5s 6d, young roosters Is 2d to Is 4d, eggs Is 5d and Is 6d dozen, onions 2id lb, potatoes Id lb. peas 7d to lOd a peck, plums 2d lb, peaches 3d per lb, apricots 2d lb, cabbages 3s sack, broad beans 6d small bags, honey 4d lb. maize 3s 9d bushel.
