1 The following are the readings of the barometer in our office, taken at 8 a.m. each day:—
GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S RETORT. Southerly moderate to strong weather •probably cool and changeable, but there is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather predominating. The barometer has a rising tendency, tides good, sea moderate swell.
