At a meeting of the Australasian Chamber of Commerce Hon. T. Mackenzie (X.Z. Higli Commissioner) strongly protested against English party politicians’ criticisms of the colonial defence systems. Mr Mackenzie, in the "Daily News." condemns hysterical criticisms of New Zealand's compulsory service.
