GOVERN MEET M ETEOROLOGIST’S REPORT. Present indications are for westerly winds strong to gale and veering to southerly soon. The barometer rising and the winds probably decreasing in force to-morrow with a diminishing barometric gradient. The weather is likely to be boisterous with heavy rain-showers in most parts, and rivers rising in the South Island. Snow is probable on the higher levels in the south, with cooler conditions following.
